Venetian Night...

As we walked back through the night from St. Mark's Square to our hotel, we crossed several small canals such as the one below. 

Cruise ships in Venice...

The cruise ship phenomenon in Venice is somewhat unfortunate. There is a tide of people sweeping into the heart of the city in the morning and a flow back to the giant ship in the afternoon.
