Big Top Balloons.

Meg took this picture of a big top tent found on our lawn. These webs are absolutely amazing creations and there must be tens of thousands of them in the single field by our home. The rise and fall of the web reminds me of a circus tent.

Yesterday evening was a beautiful, hot, Vermont summer evening which is perfect for ballooning. We saw a familiar sight on the horizon while grilling some dinner. For a bit, I thought they might be coming to dinner!
